The Missoula Children's Theatre is a professional touring children's theater from Missoula, Montana. The Missoula Children's Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, props, and makeup. The residency is one week long. The two MCT actor/directors cast approximately 60 children from the local area. Auditions are held on Monday. Students rehearse Tuesday through Friday. Two performances are held on Friday, a matinee for the students and an evening performance for the general public. Missoula Children's Theatre week is filled with theatre fun and adventure.
The Missoula Children's Theatre performances are held every other year. There have been 9 Missoula Children's Theatre productions in Edgar since 2000. The next production will be in 2018. Mrs. Heil coordinates the Missoula Children's Theatre visits.
